Enrollment 2010 - 2011

This page describes the enrollment process for Imagine International Academy of Smyrna. Open Enrollment for the 2010 -11 school year ended on February 15, 2010. If you submitted your application between January 15th and February 15th: Acceptance letters were sent to applicants for Kindergarten- 4th grades. Residents of the primary zone (Campbell High School feeder school) and secondary zone (remainder of Cobb County) were accepted.  Click here to download the Kindergarten Enrollment Packet.  Click here to download an Enrollment Packet for 1st - 4th Grades.  A lottery will be conducted on Friday, February 26th at 10:00 a.m. for applicants for 5th - 8th grades. Residents of the primary zone (Campbell High School feeder school) will be the first lottery participants followed by residents of the secondary zome (remainder of Cobb County).  Enrollment packets will be available after the lottery is completed. A student must have been accepted in order to receive and submit an enrollment packet.  A waiting list will be maintained by grade level based on the order of the lottery results (for those who do not receive a spot). The waiting list will be in effect for one school year; students must reapply each year for open spaces in the school. Students must be Cobb County residents to attend IIAS. To pre-register online, click here. Admission Imagine International Academy of Smyrna (IIAS) admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin, religion or gender. It is the intention of the school to reflect the community it serves and be open to any student residing in Cobb County. Enrollment preference is given to siblings of currently enrolled students and children of IIAS employees. Residents zoned for Campbell High School will receive preference in the lottery if they apply during open enrollment. Application Process The Open Enrollment Period is January 15th to February 15th each year. Anyone applying during open enrollment will be placed in our random lottery. Anyone applying after February 15th will automatically be placed on the waitlist, on a first come basis, after the lottery applicants. Applicants selected through the lottery will be notified by mail. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU KEEP YOUR ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER UPDATED. Notification will be given immediately if an opening becomes available from the waitlist. If you are not selected from the waitlist by January 15 of the following year you will need to reapply between January 15th and February 15th for the next school year. We're sorry, but we do not carry over waitlists. Please do not submit duplicate applications. All duplicate applications will be deleted. In order for us to update address information to a Campbell High zoned address you must come to the school and provide a copy of a current utility bill reflecting your name and address.
