Georgia Natural Gas TrueBlue Schools Program

At Georgia Natural Gas® (GNG), we understand that a strong school system is integral to a community’s success. That’s why we created the TrueBlue Schools® Program – a simple fundraising solution open to all residential natural gas users. By enrolling in the TrueBlue Schools program, you automatically help raise money for the Georgia school of your choice. Anyone can participate – and the more people who sign up and select your school, the more money your school receives. It’s that easy, and it adds up fast!

For each new customer GNG will give your school:

  • A $40 donation upon enrollment
  • + $5 for each month you remain an active GNG customer
  • = $100 Per customer the first year

Plus, TrueBlue Schools® participants get a guaranteed 5¢ discount per therm when they enroll on our Market Advantage Plan.

Box Tops for Education

This is an easy way to raise money for IIAS. Simply clip "Box Tops for Education" decals from products by companies like General Mills, Ziploc, Kleenex, Huggies and lots more. Have your student bring the decals to school and the school will redeem them for cash. To expedite the processing of Box Tops, which must be sorted and bundled, please cut the Box Tops around their dotted lines before sending them to school for collection.

Classroom Competition: Each classroom has its own collection bin. At the collection deadline, the Box Tops will be tallied and the winning classroom will be announced. There will be two collection times this year:

  • Winter (collection deadline is January 29)
  • Spring (collection deadline is May 28)
  • Students turn in Box Tops to their teachers. At the collection deadline, each class will turn in their Box Tops to be counted.
  • The winning class and teacher will be announced with a treat for the class and a gift card for their teacher.

Campbell's Soup Labels for Education

Similar to the Box Tops program, this is another simple way to earn much-needed merchandise for IIAS. In addition to saving the UPC code from Campbell's Soup labels (you do not need to send in the entire label), you can clip proofs of purchase/UPC codes from other products from companies like Campbell's, Franco-American, Pepperidge Farm, Swanson, V-8 and Prego. For juices and Prego sauces, you need to save the lids. If you are a Kroger shopper with a Kroger card (which is free), you can register your card to have your purchases automatically recorded and credited to IIAS at checkout. No need to cut labels! The link to register your Kroger Plus card number is www.elabelsforeducation.com. There also is a central collection bin in the front office conference room for all the labels and proofs of purchase should you choose to clip and save.

Publix Keycards

Don't forget to use your Publix keycard every time you shop at Publix. Simply present the card to your cashier and he/she will swipe it and a percentage of your total bill will go directly to IIAS. Give Publix keycards to friends and family members as well so they can contribute every time they buy groceries! If you need a keycard, email Brandi Battle at bcbattle@bellsouth.net
