2010 - 2011 Reflections Art Program
Designed to enhance rather than replace a quality arts education, the National Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Reflections Program provides opportunities for students to express themselves and to receive positive recognition for their artistic efforts. 2010-11 Reflections Program Theme: "Together we can."
The National PTA believes all children deserve a quality arts education and encourages students to pursue artistic expression through participation in its annual arts Reflections Program. The program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. Students in preschool through grade 12 are encouraged to create and submit works of art in six areas: dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and the visual arts (which includes art forms such as drawing, painting, print making, and collage).
2010 - 2011 Reflections Art Program Forms Packet - this packet contains all of the information and forms necessary for a student to enter the Reflections Art Program competition.

Uniform Consignment Sale: Thursday, September 9 - Saturday, September 11, 2010
The PTA will hold a uniform consignment sale in September. The schedule of events is below:
Thursday, September 9th, 4 - 6:30 p.m.: Seller Uniform Drop-off
Friday, September 10th, 4 - 6:30 p.m.: Seller Uniform Drop-Off
Saturday, September 11th, 8 - 9 a.m.: Volunteer Pre-Sale
Saturday, September 11th, 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.: Consignment Sale
Saturday, September 11th, 1 - 2 p.m.: Seller Uniform Pick-up
To Sell Uniforms: If you would like to sell uniforms in the sale, please email Lesley Lyons at lesleylyons@bellsouth.net. Please use a Subject Line entitled "Consignment Sale Seller." The deadline to register as a seller is Tuesday, September 7th. No walk-in sellers will be accepted due to the amount of time required to prepare the clothes for sale. Only clothes from Uniform Source may be sold at the consignment sale and all items must have the necessary flags and logos. All clothes must be tagged and on hangars when dropped off.

1st Annual IIAS PTA Charity Golf Tournament: Friday, October 8th, 2010
Whether you hit the links regularly or not often enough, it's time to get the clubs out and start preparing for the 1st Annual IIAS PTA Charity Golf Tournament. What better great excuse to get in a round - raise money for our school and enjoy fun in the sun.
When: Friday, October 8th at 1:00 pm
Where: Bobby Jones Golf Club; 384 Woodward Way in Atlanta
Cost: $80 for an Individual or $300 for a Foursome...price includes green fee, cart fee, range balls, box lunch and a chance to win a prize in the following categories: winning individual, winning foursome, longest-drive and last-place foursome.
